Welcome back to another episode of The Amberly Lago Show! Today I'm sitting down with my good friend Jennifer "J-Mar" Martinez, founder of J-Mar Solutions and creator of Rapid Restoration.
Jennifer's journey brings together health, entrepreneurship, faith, resilience, and servant leadership. With a background in fitness and athletic performance, she became passionate about helping people understand mineral depletion, heat stress, and why feeling depleted can affect everything from energy and focus to how we show up at work and at home.
But this conversation goes far beyond Jennifer's products. We talk about what it takes to build a business in a male-dominated industry, challenge an established narrative, and continue showing up when entrepreneurship gets incredibly hard.
Jennifer started her company in 2020, right when so much of the world was shutting down. She shares how her faith in God became the foundation that kept her moving forward and why she believes relationships, service, and genuinely helping people are at the heart of great leadership and business.
We also dive into one of the hardest seasons of her entrepreneurial journey. After years of pushing through challenges, Jennifer reached a point where she finally thought, I should quit. Instead of forcing herself to work harder, she surrendered and asked God to take over. What followed was greater clarity, alignment, and a new perspective on the opportunities that hadn't worked out.
Jennifer shares a powerful reminder that sometimes rejection is protection. The opportunity we think we need may not actually be right for us yet, and what feels like a delay can sometimes be preparing us for something better.
