Amberly Lago
Privacy Policy
Effective Date: July 11, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Amberly Lago and Inspired Living with Amberly Lago, LLC (“Amberly Lago,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) collect, use, share, and protect personal information from visitors of amberlylago.com (“the Site”). “Personal information” means information that identifies, relates to, or could reasonably be linked with a particular person.
Please read this policy carefully. By using the Site or submitting information through it, you consent to the practices described below.
1. What Personal Information We Collect
We collect the information you choose to give us, plus a limited amount of technical information that is created automatically when you visit.
Information you provide. When you submit the contact form on the Site, you may provide:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number (optional)
- Subject of your inquiry (for example, speaking, mastermind, podcast, or media)
- Any message content you choose to share, which may include event details such as date, audience size, and location for speaking inquiries
Information collected automatically. When you browse the Site, our hosting provider and analytics tools may collect standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type and settings, device information, referring pages, pages viewed, and interactions with the Site. This is described in the Cookies and Analytics section below.
The podcast search and “Ask” features on the Site operate on published podcast content and do not require or collect personal information to use.
We do not knowingly collect information from children (see Section 9).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiry or request
- Follow up about speaking, workshops, the mastermind, retreats, coaching, podcast guesting, media, or other topics you contact us about
- Send you information, updates, or communications you have requested, from which you can unsubscribe at any time
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Site
- Prevent spam, fraud, and abuse, and keep the Site secure
- Comply with our legal and regulatory obligations
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only with trusted service providers (processors) that help us operate the Site and respond to you, including:
- Netlify (hosting). The Site is hosted on Netlify. Netlify receives standard request data (such as IP address, user agent, and referrer) that is normal for any web host, and its serverless functions process form submissions and related site logic.
- Neon (database). A record of your contact form submission is stored in our managed PostgreSQL database (Neon) so we have an accurate record and can respond to and follow up on your inquiry.
- GoHighLevel (CRM). When you submit the contact form, your name, email address, phone number (if provided), subject, and message are sent to our GoHighLevel CRM so we can manage the conversation and respond. GoHighLevel acts as a data processor under our instructions.
- Mailgun (email delivery). Contact form submissions trigger a notification email to our team through Mailgun. Mailgun processes the message content and routing metadata for the purpose of delivering that email.
- Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity (analytics). Described in the Cookies and Analytics section below.
- Captivate (podcast hosting). Our podcast is hosted on Captivate. Podcast episode pages on the Site may embed a Captivate audio player, which may set cookies and collect playback data when you press play. Podcast distribution to platforms such as Apple Podcasts and Spotify is handled through Captivate.
Beyond these processors, we may disclose information when:
- We are legally required to do so (for example, a subpoena, court order, or regulatory request)
- It is necessary to enforce our Terms of Service or other agreements
- It is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Amberly Lago, our visitors, or the public
- We are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will require the recipient to honor this policy
4. Cookies and Analytics
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies. You can set your browser to warn you when a cookie is being set, or to block cookies entirely. Disabling cookies may cause parts of the Site to stop working properly.
We use the following cookie and analytics technologies:
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4).We use GA4 (loaded via Google’s gtag or Google Tag Manager) to understand how visitors interact with the Site, such as pages viewed, time on page, traffic sources, and conversions. GA4 uses cookies and may process a truncated IP address. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on.
- Microsoft Clarity. We use Microsoft Clarity to capture anonymized session recordings and heatmaps that help us find and fix usability issues. Clarity may record mouse movements, clicks, scrolls, and interactions, with sensitive inputs automatically masked. Microsoft may combine this behavioral data with other data it holds. You can read Microsoft’s privacy statement at privacy.microsoft.com.
- Hosting and functional cookies. Our host (Netlify) and certain site features may set a small number of cookies needed to maintain session state, remember preferences, or provide basic functionality. Standard request metadata may be logged for a short window for debugging and abuse prevention.
- Embedded podcast player. If you play a podcast episode embedded from Captivate, that player may set its own cookies and collect playback data.
We do not run third-party advertising retargeting networks or ad pixels (for example, Meta or TikTok) on the Site.
Do Not Track.Because there is no common industry standard for how to respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals, the Site does not currently respond differently to them. You can still opt out of analytics as described above.
5. Data Retention
We keep contact form submissions and related records for as long as needed to respond to you, manage our relationship, and meet our legal, tax, and business obligations, and then we delete or anonymize them. Analytics data is retained according to the settings and default retention periods of Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, as described in Section 6.
6. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Right to access or know. You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you and details about how we use and share it.
- Right to correct. You may ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.

- Right to data portability. You may request that we provide your information in a structured, commonly used format, or transfer it to another organization where feasible.

If you are a California resident, you have the rights described above, including the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and disclose it, the right to request deletion, the right to correct inaccurate information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under California law. You may exercise these rights by contacting us using the details in Section 10. You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.
Visitors in the EEA, UK, and other regions. If you are located in a region with data protection laws such as the GDPR or UK GDPR, you have the rights described above. Our legal bases for processing include your consent (for analytics and marketing communications), our legitimate interests (operating and securing the Site and responding to inquiries), and compliance with legal obligations. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, or to request access to or deletion of your information, email us at info@amberlylago.com or use the contact form. We will verify your request and aim to respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
7. Email Communications
If you contact us or opt in to hear from us, we may use your email address to respond to you and to send updates and information you have requested. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You can opt out at any time by clicking that link or by contacting us at info@amberlylago.com.
8. How We Protect Your Information
We take reasonable steps to protect your information:
- The Site is served over HTTPS, so information is encrypted in transit
- Access to our CRM, database, and analytics dashboards is limited to authorized people and protected by credentials
- Form submissions are transmitted to our processors over encrypted connections
- We review our security practices as our tools evolve
No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a data breach involving your personal information is confirmed, we will notify affected users and regulators as required by applicable law.
9. Children’s Privacy
The Site is intended for a general adult audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
10. Third-Party Links
The Site may link to external sites, including book retailers, the podcast on Apple Podcasts and Spotify, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those external sites. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any website you visit.
